Dining Chair

20 of these walnut dining chairs were made for a home
on Islesboro – an island off the coast of Maine.
The back legs are steam bent and hand shaped to
transition from round at the floor to rectangular at the
seat to elliptical at the top. The backrest is a curved
lamination of solid walnut and the seat is upholstered.
The seating surface sits 17” above the floor – typical
dining chair height.
